About Hackathon
HackThisJune is a 3 days long offline event, organized by ICT Club of KMGSS where developers
throughout Nepal will compete to solve a common problem and hopefully win some exciting
prizes. We are expecting enthusiastic and energetic participants who are ready to
learn new things, and showcase their skills.

What is a Hackathon?
In general a Hackathon is a social coding event that brings together computer programmers like software developers, graphic designers and user interface specialists along with industry process experts and professionals to identify issues and create software solutions within 24 hours.

Is the hackathon online?
The hackathon is offline and it will be held in Butwal Sub-metropolitan city, Lumbini.

Who can participate?
Everybody who hasn't finished bachelor yet can participate. Specifically, we are looking for hackers, coders, makers but also for innovators, creative people, and designers.

What is in for me?
Learning new skills, looks good on your CV, networking, winning cash prizes, working as a team, meet great people, have great food and having fun!

How many people should a Team be?
A team should be between 2-4 people, if you don’t have a team yet you can join our Discord Server and collab with others.

How much is the registration fee?
The registration fee will be revealed after the selection process.

How are the winners selected?
There will be an independent Jury selecting the winners with a rating system: (Implementability, financial benefits, presentation skills, creativity)

Who will be judging?
The judge panel composition will be announced closer to the date of the hackathon.

What is the problem statement?
The problem on which you have to work on will be announced on the day of the hackathon.

Is there reimbursement for travel?
This time we have a very limited budget and cannot give travel reimbursements, we are sorry - we plan to introduce that again in the next event.

What are the tracks for the hackathon?
The tracks are agriculture, health, education, and entertainment. You can choose any track you want to work on.

What are the prizes for winner and runner-ups?
We have a huge prize pool. The prizes for the winners and runner-ups will be announced closer to the date of the hackathon.
